We are now accepting vendor applications for the May 2nd Handmade Promenade on the Ave. This event takes places in conjunction with the Mass Ave Artful Tread event on First Friday. This event requires vendors be present and set up and tear down their own tents, tables and chairs. This event is located at 646 Massachusetts Ave (across from the former Yats location, now the new Liberty Street Bar) in the green grassy space. If you want to apply or need more details, click here for the application and FAQ.
It’s coming this Friday-Mass Ave Midnight Shopper. Word on the street is 15 Mass Ave Merchants will be open ’til midnight for your shopping enjoyment! You can shop stores like Handmade Promenade, Silver in the City, Crimson Tate and more- read all about participating shops right here! We’re bound to come up with something extra fun for those of you who plan to stop in and shop late Friday- maybe a hot chocolate bar or a make-and-take craft? What do you think? I think it sounds like too much fun!
And, we’ve just learned something else exciting for parents looking for a night out:
** ATTENTION PARENTS! **
Good news for all you parents who want to stay out late. The YMCA at the Anthenaeum is offering Parent’s Night Out during Midnight Shopper. You can drop the kiddos off—ages 6 months to 12 years—for some holiday arts & crafts, a movie, snack and holiday fun! They’ll be open from 5-9pm. Register you kiddo now, space is limited. Call the YMCA at 685-9795.
